Even Sarnians who didn’t head downtown for International Offshore Powerboat Races last weekend probably heard them.
Live music and roaring speedboats anchored the soundscape of the festival, which drew huge crowds to the shoreline of both Sarnia and Port Huron.
The three-day event was organized to be family-friendly, with a line-up of street performances that included chainsaw jugglers, stilt walkers and busker workshops.
And with the exception of three evening concerts it was all free of charge.
