Residents across Sarnia-Lambton will have another opportunity to share their perspectives on housing and homelessness during an upcoming virtual public consultation hosted by the County of Lambton.
The online session is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will be held through Microsoft Teams. The meeting is part of the county’s ongoing work to update its 10-year Housing and Homelessness Plan, which is expected to guide priorities, investments, and local strategies over the next decade.
County officials say community feedback is a key component of the planning process, helping ensure the updated plan reflects current challenges and emerging needs across Lambton County. Input gathered from residents will be used alongside survey data, stakeholder engagement, and research findings to shape the final document.
The consultation follows a recent in-person session held in Sarnia and is intended to provide an additional option for residents who prefer to participate remotely.
Those interested in attending the March 4 virtual meeting are asked to register online in advance. The updated Housing and Homelessness Plan is expected to be presented to Lambton County council later this spring.
