The official results from the Bluewater Anglers Salmon Derby have now been confirmed. The 2016 winners, by category, are: Salmon : Kurt Vandenbroek, of London, with a 17.96 lb. salmon. Trout-Boat: Mike Dillabough, of Corunna, with a 10.86 lb.

Salmon: Kurt Vandenbroek, of London, with a 17.96 lb. salmon.
Trout-Boat: Mike Dillabough, of Corunna, with a 10.86 lb. rainbow trout.
Trout-Shore: Brocke Fulkerson, of Sarnia, with a 15.90 lb. rainbow trout.
Lake Trout: Wade Thomas, of Bright’s Grove, with a 17.10 lb. lake trout.
Walleye: Ken Ewart, of Corunna, with a 9.60 lb. walleye.
Ladies Day Winner: Nicole McCullough, of Strathroy, with a 16.62 lb. lake trout.
Seniors Day Winner: Bob Wettlaufer, of Dashwood, with a 16.32 lb. lake trout.
Kids Big Fish Winner: Elijah Brown, of Petrolia, with a 14.60 lb. salmon.
A total of 1,259 fish were entered during the 10- day event. An awards night was planned for May 18 at the Point Edward Optimist Hall.
