The "Sarnia Lambton Advocacy Days" will take place on Monday, October 27, and Tuesday, October 28, 2025. The initiative will see Chamber members meet with provincial Ministers, parliamentary assistants, and senior ministry staff to discuss key issues impacting local businesses and communities.
The goal of the Chamber is to strengthen relationships with provincial decision-makers and ensure the voice of Sarnia-Lambton business is heard on matters that shape Ontario's economic future.
"Advocacy is at the heart of what we do as a Chamber,” said Carrie McEachran, CEO of the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce. "Our delegation is bringing the collaborative spirit of Sarnia-Lambton to Queen’s Park – sharing our region’s success stories, addressing our challenges, and strengthening partnerships that will help build a prosperous future for all".
A key event during the visit will be an MPP Breakfast Reception on Tuesday, October 28, 2025. The Chamber delegates will be joined by Sarnia Lambton MPP Bob Bailey, local dignitaries, and other Members of Provincial Parliament.
The reception will also feature local vendors, showcasing products and innovations that highlight Sarnia-Lambton as a place to live, work, and invest.
The Chamber acknowledged its sponsors for supporting the initiative: Imperial Oil (Sarnia Site) is the lead sponsor, and the Sarnia Lambton Economic Partnership (SLEP) is the meeting sponsor.
The Advocacy Days initiative aims to provide local business and community leaders with a platform to engage directly with provincial decision-makers through dialogue, collaboration, and solution-focused discussions, promoting regional growth, investment, and innovation.
