Sarnia Police investigating death as a homicide

City Police are treating the death of a 29-year-old Sarnia woman on March 14 as a homicide. Officers arriving in the 100 block of North Palmerston Street found the woman in medical distress, and paramedics rushed her to hospital.

Officers arriving in the 100 block of North Palmerston Street found the woman in medical distress, and paramedics rushed her to hospital.

Sarah Marie Thwaites, 29, was later pronounced dead as a result of her injuries, police said.

Officers secured and closed the area to traffic for several days.
