Thirteen business owners signed a petition in November asking Lambton County to reduce the speed limit on Lakeshore Road from the current 70 kilometres per hour.
But Sarnia supported a county recommendation to do nothing after a number of business owners contacted by city staff said they didn’t support a speed reduction or were indifferent.
