Eric McDowell raises his arms in celebration during the official grand opening of The Hub on Friday, May 5.

The innovative new safe space for youth at St. Luke’s Church is a collaboration involving 35 community partners and provides assistance with mental health, addiction, education and job readiness for people aged 16 to 24.

Sarnia-Lambton MPP Bob Bailey announced a $63,500 Trillium grant for the facility, which had already been visited by 800 youth seeking out social programs, referrals, and food, laundry and shower facilities.
