Each $10 ticket offers 31 chances to win cash prizes throughout the month of January while supporting local programs that help families in need.

The Holiday Cash Calendar features a total prize board of $10,300, with daily draws taking place from January 1 to 31. Prizes range from $150 to $1,100, and winning tickets are re-entered each day, giving buyers multiple opportunities to win.

Funds raised through the calendar support The Inn’s essential programs, including the food bank, which is currently serving 20 percent more families than just two years ago. The Inn’s food bank also provides snacks and meals for more than 900 children every month.

“This fundraiser is a fun way for people to give back while having a chance to win,” said Melissa Roushorne, Fundraising Coordinator. “Every ticket sold helps us continue meeting the growing demand for food, shelter, and support services in our community.”

A bonus draw will also take place on February 20, 2026, for a $300 DeGroot’s Nurseries gift card. To enter, ticket holders simply fill out the back of their calendar ticket and drop it off at DeGroot’s in January.

Only 5,000 tickets have been printed, and participants must be 18 years or older to enter. Winners will be notified by phone, and tickets are $10 each.

Tickets can be purchased:

  • Online at www.theinnsarnia.ca/shop/2026-holiday-cash-calendar
  • At the Inn of the Good Shepherd reception desk, 115 John Street, Sarnia
  • At participating local retailers including Dog Eat Dog, Mufflerman, John's Restaurant, Mainstreet Credit Union, Coffee Lodge, and Libro Credit Union

Those purchasing multiple tickets as gifts are asked to include the names of each recipient in the notes section at checkout. Tickets can be picked up in person or mailed once postal service resumes after the Canada Post strike.

Proceeds from the Holiday Cash Calendar will help The Inn of the Good Shepherd continue its mission of providing caring hands to the community — supporting local families with food, shelter, and hope this winter season.
