More than $165,000 worth of drugs was seized and two people were arrested after police issued a search warrant at a Sarnia apartment this week. Sarnia Police say the incident occurred Tuesday, Feb.

More than $165,000 worth of drugs was seized and two people were arrested after police issued a search warrant at a Sarnia apartment this week.
Sarnia Police say the incident occurred Tuesday, Feb. 27, when members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Vice Unit executed a controlled drugs and substance act search warrant at an apartment at 289 Indian Road South.
Two individuals were located inside, and subsequently arrested.
A search of the unit let to the seizure of a significant amount of drugs, including:
33.46 grams of fentanyl, 551.97 grams of cocaine, 946.73 grams of crystal meth, and 25 codeine pills.
Total street value of the drugs seized was $166,053.
Also located were a prohibited weapon (butterfly knife), a hydraulic cocaine press, and $550 in cash.
The individuals, age 22 and 76, both of Sarnia, face a number of drugs and weapons related charges.
The 22-year-old was held for a bail hearing, while the 76-year-old was released by police, with a future court date.
