Two people have died in separate collisions in Lambton County in recent days.
Lambton OPP say a 61-year-old driver from Petrolia died following a two-vehicle collision in Enniskillen Township, Friday, March 8.
Police say the crash occurred around 11:30 a.m., when emergency crews were called to Courtright Line and Marthaville Road in Enniskillen Township.
“Officers attended the scene along with Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Enniskillen Fire,” a news release stated. “The 61-year-old driver, from Petrolia, was pronounced deceased at the scene.”
The involved intersection was closed for the investigation.
On Monday, March 11, around 7:40 a.m., Lambton OPP were called to a two-vehicle collision at Inwood Road and Rokeby Line in Booke-Alvinston.
“Officers attended the scene along with Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Brooke Fire. The 24-year-old driver, from Alvinston, was pronounced deceased at the scene,” police said in a news release.
No other details were released.
