Two Sarnia men have been arrested following a month-long drug trafficking investigation, Lambton OPP said Tuesday.

Police say the pair, ages 20 and 25, were arrested March 2 by members of the OPP Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) after a search warrant was issued at their residence, revealing suspected cocaine, methamphetamine, hydromorphone, morphine, ketamine, and bulk Canadian and U.S. currency. The total value of the seizure is estimated at more than $28,500.

Both men face a charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking; while the 20-year-old faces an additional count of trafficking, and two counts of drug possession.

The accused have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice – Sarnia at a later date.
