A drug trafficking investigation by Lambton OPP has led to the arrest of two Sarnia men, ages 20 and 22, police say.
In a news release, police say members of the Lambton OPP Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) arrested two individuals during a traffic stop on Oct. 15, following a drug trafficking investigation that began in September 2023.
A search, incident to arrest, yielded a quantity of suspected cocaine valued at over $37,000, police stated.
The accused are charged with ‘Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking,’ while one faces an additional charge of ‘Failure to comply with release order.’
The accused were held in custody following a bail hearing on October 15, 2023.
