Sarnia residents are invited to volunteer for a morning cleanup event on the Midtown Trail and the Howard Watson Nature Trail this month.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, offering a chance to spend time outdoors, connect with the community, and help keep the trails beautiful and welcoming for all users.
The cleanup will focus on the bisect of the Midtown Trail and Howard Watson Nature Trail. Volunteers can find parking and access to both trails behind Swiss Chalet on London Road.
Organizers will provide garbage bags, and a limited collection of trash grabbers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Volunteers are advised to wear comfortable clothes, including long pants and closed-toed shoes or boots, and to bring their own gloves if possible.
Those interested in volunteering should fill out the sign-up form provided by the organizers.
