The Oil Museum of Canada is bringing history and horsepower together at the Wheels & Wells Car Show on August 23, featuring classic cars, prizes, and a special display linking Lambton County’s oil heritage to the evolution of the automobile.

The Oil Museum of Canada in Oil Springs will host the Wheels & Wells Car Show on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., blending the region’s unique oil industry history with a showcase of classic vehicles.
Car registration begins at 9:30 a.m. by donation, with a suggested contribution of $10 per vehicle. All makes and models are welcome, and admission is free for spectators.
Highlights will include a special display of auto-themed artifacts from the museum’s collection, connecting Lambton County’s oil heritage to the development of the automobile. Visitors can also take part in oil history trivia for prizes, enjoy food and drink on site, and participate in a 50/50 lottery. Awards for show vehicles will be presented at 2 p.m.
