Peacefully, on Monday, March 31st, 2025, at Bluewater Health, Donald Charles Albert passed away at the age of 63. Beloved husband of Laurie Gardiner. Loving father of Janelle Mann (Eric Huynh). Cherished grandfather of Myla Huynh. Treasured son of Henry and the late Emma Albert. Adored uncle of Andrea (Michael) Chaplinsky and Jennifer (Thi) Nguyen and great uncle to Elliot Nuygen and Natalie, Nicholas, and Anna Chaplinsky. Dear brother of Susan (Andy) Kuntz and Peter Albert. Don will be remembered by Laurie’s children Amanda Forget-Gentner, Henry Forget, and their families. 

Don has always enjoyed outdoor activities, from skiing in the winter to riding his motorcycle and sailing in the warmer months. He had a passion for scuba diving, exploring the underwater landscapes. In Don’s recent years, he has taken an interest in flying drones and photography, learning how to capture new perspectives from the sky. 

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
