Archer, Edward Howard "Ted" – Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Lambton Meadowview Villa, on Monday, July 1st, 2024 in his 95th year. Ted was born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario to Nelson & Dora Archer.
Loving Husband of Mary (Née Quinn) (2008) for 59 years. Loving Father of Cindy & Doug Campbell, Lynn & Jeff Baarschers, Janice & the Late Eddy Chong, Ted & Shelley Archer and Jason Archer. Adored Grandfather of Doug & Julie Campbell, Ed & Nerissa Campbell, Linda Campbell, the late Susan Campbell, Amy Chong, Robert & Kasey Chong, Ted & Carly Archer, Robyn & Daniel Feenstra, Joe Archer and Meghan Breda, Martin Boyle, Brittany & Andy Vanderwielen, Sonya Boyle and Marianne Boyle. Ted was Super Gramps of 15 great-grandchildren. Ted is predeceased by his siblings, Mary Dew, Jack, Carl, Bern, and Ross. He will be dearly missed by the Quinn family.
Ted will always be remembered with an infectious smile. He was also known for his kindness and being a great mentor for anyone. Ted was an avid golfer and truly enjoyed the sport so much that he played his last round of golf on his 89th birthday. He was always eager to do drawings for your next project. Ted retired in 1985 and together with his love Mary, they built their dream home in Port Franks. Together they enjoyed the life they built there.
Ted will be incredibly missed by anyone near and far whose live's he touched.
The family of Ted would like to thank Lambton Meadowview Villa.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
