Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Bluewater Health, Larry “J.R.” Barber passed away at the age of 54. Husband of Jenny Barber. Loving father of Ashley Barber (Jason Dube) and Marley Barber. Cherished son of Larry Sr. and the late Sharon Barber. Treasured grandfather of Olivia, Vann, Damian, Millie and Cora. Dear brother of Dan (Janna) Barber. Will be missed by his nephews Zachary and Cooper, and by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
J.R. worked at William’s Landscaping for many years, he loved his job and spending the days with his crew.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with J.R.’s wishes, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
