It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family of Wendy Lynn Bartlett announces her peaceful passing, with loving family by her side, on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the age of 60. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Preston. Loving mother of Cameron Preston and Alexis Preston. Dear sister of Deborah Murray. Cherished daughter of Judy Shelley and Howard Bartlett.
Wendy was an avid sailor and member of the Sarnia Yacht Club for over 50 years and was a member of the Board of Directors in many capacities, becoming Commodore in 2021. She was a Chemical Technologist and achieved her Master’s degree in Business and Marketing. Wendy was an excellent mother to her kids, a dog mom for many years, a volunteer soccer coach and scout leader, a wonderful gardener, baker of excellent dinner rolls, and loved travelling the world. She will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Wendy’s wishes, a celebration of life will take place at the Sarnia Yacht Club, 1220 Fort Street, Point Edward, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m.
