It is with saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Lonnie Bowen on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the age of 69. Loving dad of Ella, Jocelyne, and Logan. Treasured Gumps of Sakura Mika Scott-Bowen and Brandon Nathaniel Scott-Bowen. Cherished brother of Robbie Bowen, Melody Wyeth, and Clydine Bowen-Lambkin. Uncle of Amanda, Michael, and Matthew Bowen. Predeceased by his best friend Susan Marilyn Scott “Boots”, and by his parents Clyde and Wilma.
Lonnie loved watching hockey and especially loved the Toronto Maple Leafs. He will be remembered as the life of the party, always with a glass of beer in his hand, dancing and singing. He was proud of and loved his profession as an expert Nibbler.
Cremation has taken place. As per Lonnie’s wishes, no services will be held.
