Peacefully, with her favourite nephew by her side, Catharine (Cathy) Bradley passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 66. Cathy lived her life as a Hard Oiler, proud of her family's contributions to the booming oil heritage in the Petrolia area. She spent her days between her work at the Cherryhill Mall in London, volunteering with her sister, Maureen' classes at the Thames Valley School Board, and at her "happy place" – the family cottage at Cedar Bay near Forest.
Predeceased by those who doted on her as the "baby" of their family, parents Maurice and Mildred Bradley, oldest sister Joyce (the late Dave) Gladwish, and her only brother Edward (the late Diana) Bradley.
Cathy is survived by her sister Maureen, nephew Shawn (Lisa) Gladwish, nieces Heather (Dave) Sharpe, Beth (Warren) Higgins, Faith (Scott Stewart) Bradley, and Dawn Marie (Tyler Hamilton) Bradley. Cathy had more great-nephews and great-nieces than you could shake a stick at. She loved her many cousins, including Dick and Janet Bradley, Carolyn (the late Sherman) Parr, and the whole Goodacre Clan – Bob and Judy, Connie and Gary Luckhurst, Rick and Diane, and most especially these past few years, Roni and his wife, Margie.
Everyone needs that special person in their life that they can count on no matter what, and for Cathy, that person was Karen Carter. She was lucky to have had such an incredible support system in their lifelong friendship.
"At'll do, as Grandpa used to say."
