On June 27, 2024, Freida Munro (Lyall) Brandon went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in her 96th year.
Beloved Wife of the late William T. Brandon (2005) and cherished Mother of Joyce (Rick) Hoornweg, Bev (Pete) Leduc, Keith (Roberta) Brandon and Mary Anne Parsons.
She was born in Scotland on July 2, 1928 to John and Florence Lyall and was loving sister of Derrick (Candice) Lyall, David Lyall and the late Doreen Belanger. She will be sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Freida was a gracious hostess opening her home to family and travelling preachers as well as being an avid knitter and puzzle solver. She attended Forest Bible Chapel for over 70 years and will be greatly missed for her piano playing and quiet nature.
A funeral service will be conducted at Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 123 King Street East, Forest on July 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
