Peacefully surrounded by loving family at Bluewater Health on November 4, 2025, Kathi passed away at age 69. A beloved wife, mother, gramma, sister, aunt and friend, she will be dearly missed by her loving husband Desmond, daughters Meika and Tevin (Mike), and her grandchildren Lucas, Connor and Ainsley. Dear sister of John (June), Ross, Bill (Margaret) and the late Bernie and Terry Cain. Loved by many extended family members and close friends. Known for her warmth, amazing sense of humour and ever generous heart, she touched countless lives in her community. A talented cook and creative spirit, she could always be found in the kitchen cooking for those she loved. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, and friends who were like family. She was over the moon to become a Gramma to her three grandchildren and spending time with them brought her immense happiness. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, patience, and love that will live on in every heart she touched. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home –London Line Chapel, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home – London Line Chapel on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. All friends and family are welcome to attend. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Sarnia & District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
