Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on August 1, 2024, at Afton Park Place, Joan Mae Capp passed away at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Lawrence “Larry” Capp. Loving mother of Lawrence (Sandra) Capp and Gary Capp (friend Tracy). Cherished grandmother of Sherry (Capp) Hall, Rob Hall, Mary Capp, Andrew Capp (friend Kaity Jacklin), and Rebecca Loerts. Treasured great grandmother of Riley and Carter Hall. Predeceased by her mother Mae Middleton, step-father Joseph Introcaso, and brothers Ugene and Gerald Middleton. Special Thank You to Afton Park Place and Bluewater Health Stroke Ward for their care of Joan. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, with family and friends being received one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. for visitation. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Sarnia Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
