Mr. Arthur "Brent" Charron passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Lambton Meadowview Villa, in Petrolia, at the age of 79, two months short of his 80th birthday (And yes, there was going to be a party).
Brent was born in Chatham and was a son of the late Arthur and Joan (Wills) Charron. Beloved husband of 59 years, Nancy (Mills) Charron. Loving father of Laura (Brent) Whittal, Curt (Lori) Charron, Andy (Gen) Charron and Ron (Brenda VanEde) Charron. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Leith, Bethany, Emily, Carly, Jessica, Megan, Tyler, Madelane, Hannah, Clayton, Devan and Abbey and his great grandchildren Lily, Cooper, Connor, Paige and Olivia. Kind brother of William "Smokey" (Carol) Charron, Ted (the late Pat) Charron, Darrell (Charlotte) Charron, "Todd" Jeffrey (MaryBell) Charron and the late Christopher. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 5-9 p.m. at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. The Funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11 a.m., with one hour visitation before.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Chatham-Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
