Mary Ellen Charron, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away at Bluewater Health in Sarnia on Thursday, May16, 2024 at the age of 78. Mary was the daughter of the late Jack & Elizabeth (Moran) Johnston. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 51 years, Johnathan Wallace “Jack” Charron in February 2013. Loving mother of Kevin Charron (Lori Baron), Lori Hildebrandt (Kevin Onclin, the late Dale Hildebrandt), Lisa Wilton (Greg Wilton, the late Paul Delorme), Debra Deschenes and David Charron (Angela Holbrook). Dear grandmother of Christopher, Jamison, Samantha, Chelsea, Shelby, Brittany, Denise, Mickie, Brooke, Cody, Kyla, Madeline and Mason and great grandmother of Paeton, Jordan, Knox, Parker, Aria, Alexander, Josie, Leo, Rory, Jade, and Wylla. Sister in law to Dan Mullen. Sister of Jay Johnston (Claudette), Jean English (Louis), Peter Johnston (Margie), Sherry Vandevenne (Bill), Terry Castaldi (Ron) and predeceased by Don Johnston (Louise), Larry Johnston (Nancy), Betty Brandon (Norm), Peggy Mullen (Dan), Pene Moore (Orville).
Sister in law to Rod Charron (Norma) and the late Ken Charron (Ellen). Fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 3 – 6 PM on Tuesday, MAY 28. The Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Port Lambton on Wednesday, MAY 29 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
