Mr. John Sylvester Chortos Jr., A resident of Wallaceburg , passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Fairfield Park Nursing Home in Wallaceburg at the age of 77 years.
John was born in Wallaceburg and was a son to the late John and Elizabeth (Vincze) Chortos. Kind brother of Jeff (Joanne) Chortos, Paul (Debbie) Chortos and Pauline (Rick) Robblee. He is predeceased by a sister Jane Chortos. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. John enjoyed playing cards, golfing and bowling. He was an avid fan as he watched his favourite teams the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Dallas Cowboys.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
