It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah Ann Coates on July 4, 2025, after a very short illness, at the age of 65.
Deb leaves behind her beloved life partner, Wayne Kirkham of Hamilton, and her cherished furry companions Keila and Malibu. She had just retired in November and was looking forward to enjoying this new chapter of her life.
Deb will be deeply missed by her sister, Betty, and brother-in-law, Bill Nowosad, and their children, Christine and Steven; and by her brother, Tom Coates, and his wife, Cathy, along with their daughters, Meghan and Laura. She is predeceased by her loving parents, Tom and Ruby Coates, her sister Elaine White and her nephew Jeffrey Nowosad.
Deb touched the lives of many with her kindness, quiet strength and generous heart. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
