Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Ross Cook passed away at the age of 85 after a long battle with COPD, kidney disease and leukemia. Together for almost 50 years to his beloved wife and best friend Denise. Ross cherished and loved his children deeply; daughter Cindy of Calgary and sons Christopher (Jill) of Forest and Clinton (Kate) of Camlachie. Treasured grandfather of Sophie, Maddox and Jasper. Survived by his sisters-in-law Brenda Haslip and Bev (Bob) Webb. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews Predeceased by his father Robert, mother Nora, brothers Bob and Ron, and sister Barb. Ross was a finish carpenter and jack-of-all-trades. He made a full-size stage coach that was used in many parades. Ross loved all animals and enjoyed life to the fullest. A special thanks to Jen and the crew from the Community Paramedics Program and to the Staff of the Sarnia Pharmacy for the many years of support.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Ross’ wishes, no services will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Community Paramedics Program (cheques only at the funeral home please). Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
