Peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Meadowview Villa Nursing Home, Alice Margaret Corbett (Stinson) passed away at the age of 92. Born July 11, 1931 in Petrolia, Ontario. Alice is predeceased by sisters Bernice, Dorothy, Irma, Monica, Cleta, and Geraldine, and brothers Lloyd, Cyril, Gordon, and son Shawn of Phoenix, Arizona. Loving mother of son Garth (Nicole), daughter Shannon (Peter) and son Darcy (Tania). Loving Gramma of Kevin Corbett (Becky), Sara Pynnonen and Lindsay Corbett Baril (Mike). Cherished Granny of Jaylin and Locklin Baril and Keegan and Ryder Corbett. A very special thank you to all of the staff at Meadowview Villa for your care and compassion for our Mother during her stay with you. It is so very appreciated. Cremation has taken place. Visiting will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, and the Lung Association (cheques only at the funeral home, please).
