Blaine Cossaboom passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, at age 75 in Saint John, New Brunswick. Blaine was loved deeply by his family, his brother Blanchard (Mark) Cossaboom, his sister Miriam McCracken, his Aunt Elaine and cousin Kim, his niece Molly, Debbie Martin, and Sheila Wilson. He was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Norma Cossaboom.
Blaine began his life on Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick and returned to live his final years on the island. He grew up in Sarnia and was active in the local music community for many years. Blaine was a very special man. He was creative, kind, and devoted to his love of music. He will be missed by many. The family is especially grateful to Kimberly Allen and Sheila Wilson for their support during Blaine’s final days. Cremation will take place in New Brunswick.
