Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Bluewater Health, Dorothy Ewener passed away at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Robert Ewener. Loving mother of Leanna (Dave) McKee. Cherished grandmother of Nolan and Garrett McKee. Dear sister of Jean Paisley and Keith (Marion) Thomson. Predeceased by her parents John and Dora Thomson. Dorothy will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A graveside service will take place at Lakeview Cemetery on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service at Smith Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Sarnia and District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
