John Gordon Fergusson (Jack) passed away on Tuesday, April 02, 2024 at his residence in Sarnia in his 100th year. He was a man with such a big heart that only thirty percent of it kept him going for the past 15 years. Predeceased by his first wife Kay and second wife Marjorie (Sauve). Jack felt blessed to have had each of these wonderful women as life partners. Sadly his son Jim passed away in 2019. Jack will be dearly missed by his daughters Janet Sneddon (Larry Reid), Ruth Dunn (Rob), and Paula Beach (Paul), daughter-in-law Cathie Fergusson, grandchildren Jamie Sneddon, Joel Sneddon (Rachel), Rachanne Dunn, Rayneata Dunn (Colin), Riley Beach, Mackenzie Beach and great-grandsons Noah and Vaughan Sneddon, Rowan Hopkins and his youngest sister Elinore Remnant, as well as Marjorie's children Val Monger (John), Nancy Brown, JoAnne McAlpine (Kevin), the late Pam Waring (Brian) and the late Raymond (Isabel) along with their extended families. Heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Rosewood Manor and Dr. A. Crombeen for their attentive care of Jack for the past several years. Cremation has taken place and at Jack's request there will be no services. Sympathies may be expressed through donations to the Salvation Army or Inn of the Good Shepherd, Sarnia (cheques only at the funeral home, please).
