Joan Finkbeiner, of Wallaceburg, formerly of Port Lambton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Fairfield Park, Wallaceburg at the age of 91.
Joan is a daughter of the late Lloyd and Jennie (Passmore) Parsons.
Loving mother of Holly (Paul) Aarssen and the late Jeff Finkbeiner.
Dear grandmother of Natasha, Tammy (Cris), Amanda, Amy, Ally (Darby), Courtney (Steve) and Makenna (Bronson) and great grandmother of Chloe, Craig, Aaliyah, Andrew, Blake and Willem.
Kind sister of Maxine Kovacs, predeceased by her brothers Doug (the late Norma) Parsons and Jack (the late Marion) Parsons and her brother-in-law Bill Kovacs.
Joan loved watching the Jays and Leafs play, she enjoyed her word searches, puzzles and colouring. In the past she loved going bowling and golfing.
The family would like to thank Fairfield Park Nursing Home and everyone for their personal care and treatment of Joan.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following her wishes, cremation will take place. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society and Canadian Cancer Society may be left at the funeral home.
