Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Bluewater Health, Alesandro “Alex” Manuele Gagliardi passed away at the age of 54. Beloved husband of the late Elke Gagliardi (2014). Loving father of Patrick and Cassandra (Alex Moggy) Gagliardi. Dear brother of the late Rosa (2022) (Wayne) O’Hara, Salvatore (Audrey) Gagliardi, Adriana (Aldo) Rocca, Eleonora Gagliardi, and brother-in-law of Gerhard (Carlyn) Klemm and Gord Klemm. Cherished son-in-law of Erica Klemm. Predeceased by his parents Oreste and Triesta Gagliardi and by his father-in-law Alex Klemm (2021). He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Alex will be remembered for his hardworking nature. He had an extraordinary work ethic and the strongest passion to provide for his family. At the young age of 15, Alex took over his father’s concrete business and successfully ran AG Concrete until his retirement 5 years ago. Beyond work, Alex had many hobbies and a love and passion for old school muscle cars, being around his friends, playing cards and playing pool. His Italian Heritage meant so much to him and he was proud to be part of the community. Ultimately, Alex will be remembered for his generous heart and his unconditional love for his family. Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside was held at Resurrection Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada, or to the Canadian Mental Health Association (cheques only at the funeral home please).
