On Monday, March 4, 2024, at the age of 94, Mary Louise Griffore was reunited with her husband Justin Griffore (1975). She will be forever remembered as the loving mother of Dianne Paxton (the late Brian 2012), Joseph ‘Joe’ Griffore (MaryAnn) and Suzette ‘Sue’ McGuire (Chris). Cherished grandmother of Janelle McCallum (Chad), Ryan Paxton (Courtney), Justin Griffore (Christine), Jason Griffore, Kip Johnson (Becca), Adam Johnson, Michael McGuire (Cassandra), Lukas McGuire, Chris Knazook, Dan Knazook (Erica), Jeff Knazook (Alicia), CJ Cutler and great grandmother of Kolten and Eryn McCallum, Olivia and Ethan Paxton, Brooklyn Harrington, Skye and Alexi Griffore, Keegen, Jamison and Sophie Johnson, Ashton and Drake Johnson, William, Ben and Nova McGuire, Parker, Scarlett, Casen, Eli, Kaleb, Kai and Kimber. Mary was the daughter of the late Cornelius Van De Veire (1990) and late Louise Van De Veire (De Moor) (1978) and a dear sister of Cori Van De Veire Jr (Laura) and the late Amiel Van De Veire (2006). Remembered fondly by her son-in-law Mike McGuire. Mary’s family would like to give a sincere thank you to everyone at Fairfield Park Nursing Home for the exceptional care, compassion and gentleness given in the caring for their mother. Mary will be laid to rest beside her husband at Riverview Cemetery during a private family service under the care of the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231).
