It is with saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Claude George Hadley on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Dana. Loving father of Andrew (Vanessa) and Brian (Miranda). Cherished grandfather of Katherine and Callen. Treasured uncle to Jeremy (Meaghan). Predeceased by his parents Helga and Claude Hadley and his sister Linda (Cec) Smith. Claude was an avid golfer, even playing right up until the day of his passing. He retired in 2005 from Ontario Hydro after working for 31 years as the Chief Union Steward. Claude will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Claude’s wishes, a private family graveside will be held. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Sarnia & District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please). Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
