It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family of Isobel Spence Hillier announces her passing at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Bob Hillier. Loving mother of Sue (Kelly) Cooper. Cherished grandmother of Shawn Hillier and Nathan Cooper. Dear sister-in-law of Diane Watt. Cousin and Sister at heart to Gemma (Norm) Hallenbeck. Treasured Aunt to Greg Hallenbeck and Drew (Gillian) Hallenbeck. Predeceased by her parents George and Mary Watt and by her brother Rob. Isobel is reunited with her dear friend from Wellings, Pat Robbins. Isobel loved spending time at the casino and playing poker every week with her family. She was a natural performer, loved music, writing poetry, watching the Blue Jays, and adored her furry companions over the years. Above all else, family was most important to Isobel and her grandsons held a special place in her heart. Cremation has taken place. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Sarnia & District Humane Society or Bluewater Health Palliative Care (cheques only at the funeral home please).
