It is with great sadness that we announce our beloved son Lucan Jonathan Isaac has passed away unexpectedly at the age of 31 years. Loving son of Deb and Tony Isaac.
Dear brother of Steve (Cylie), Dylan (Jen), and Suzi (Geordan) Isaac and Derek (Tracy) Shipman and sister-in-law Bobbie Heathcote.
Special uncle to Evan Isaac, Emery Isaac, Tasha Sands, Mitchell Sands, Noodin Isaac, Miinaande Isaac, and Nimkii Isaac.
Luc will be missed by many aunties and uncles, as well as cousins and close friends.
Predeceased by his grandparents Suzanne and John Heeley and Patty and Eric Isaac.
He always had a very special relationship with his granddad, John Heeley.
Luc was a gifted artist and writer. He was a talented musical composer and lyricist. He was a former Bkejwanong Ecokeeper and passionate about the environment. He will be greatly missed by his feline friends Jazzy and Tux.
Visitation will take place at the residence, 374 Dan Shab Road, Walpole Island First Nation on Monday from 1pm to 3pm for family and close friends and 5pm to 7pm for community.
The funeral will be celebrated on Tuesday March 5, 2024 at 11AM at the residence followed by burial at Highbanks Cemetery.
