It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Frances “Nannie” Kirby (nee Jones) at the age of 94. She passed away on Thursday April 24, 2025, surrounded by her family at the Charlotte Eleanor Englehart Hospital in Petrolia, Ontario. A lifelong resident of Knowlton, Quebec, Frances was the beloved wife of the late Rowland Kirby and the mother of the late Ronald and Donald. She is survived by her children, Sharon (Leonard Westcott) and Jerry (Cynthia Sherrer), along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family members and friends. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date in Knowlton, Quebec. Arrangements entrusted to Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna.
