Donna Jean Kavanagh (nee McGowan) passed away peacefully on March 10th, 2026 at the age of 77.

Beloved wife of Thomas. Cherished Mother to Jason (Sara) of Elmira and Raymond (Colleen) of Fergus. Proud Grandmother to Hannah, Ethan (Arriana Edralin) and Gabriella.

Donna was a vibrant woman who loved colourful clothing, bright hair colours and fancy nails. She will be remembered for the motherly hugs she shared with everyone she met – she loved fiercely and without restraint.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Bluewater Health, especially Dr. McCreery, Kendra and Cait.

Cremation has taken place. Friends and Family are invited to remember Donna together at a Memorial gathering (open house) on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Lakeshore Community Church (2815 Old Lakeshore Road, Sarnia).

In lieu of flowers, donations to Lakeshore Community Church would be appreciated. This was a place that Donna loved and had many deep connections at (www.wearelakeshore.com).
