In the presence of all his family, Daniel Kijanka passed quietly away on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Susan for 55 years. Loving father of Andrew (Brook) and Annie (Brad). Much-loved grandfather of Hannah, Tate and Owen. Dear brother to Carol Pavey and the late Steve Kijanka. He will be greatly missed by his brother-in-law Fred Pavey and his cat Zelda. Dan was a retired Insulator for many years with the Local 95 Union. He enjoyed going to his grandson’s hockey games and teasing his granddaughter. He loved family dinners and treasured the times where his family was all together. He was proud of all his grandchildren, and they were his greatest joy.
In keeping with Dan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
