Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Brian Peter Kumpf passed away at the age of 90. Peter is resting in the arms of his Lord, Saviour, and friend, Jesus Christ.
Beloved husband of the late Shirley (née Annett) for over 64 years. Loving father of Bill (Cathy), Brian (Nancy), Robert (Tricia), and Linda (Larry). Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Kumpf, James Kumpf, Natalie St. Amand, Emily Kumpf, Ashley Kumpf, Derek Kumpf, and treasured great-grandfather of eleven. Predeceased by his parents William and Myrtle Kumpf and brothers Don, Barry, and Kerry.
Peter began his career at Imperial Oil before transitioning to Tecumseh Gas. As Operations Manager, he played an integral role in its development until his retirement in 1994. Peter dedicated many years to his community, playing a crucial role in the growth of the Moore Sports Complex, Moore Minor Hockey, and North American Juvenile Silverstick.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Bluewater Health with special thanks to Dr. Kim and the palliative care team.
Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Peter’s wishes, no services will be held.
