Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on June 28, 2024, at Trillium Villa, Evelyn Ethel Lamb passed away at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Fred Lamb (1999). Loving mother of Wayne (Judy), Larry, Jeff (Diana), Brian (Natalia), Cindy (Bill), and the late Karen. Cherished grandmother of Brianne, Courtney, Jason, Jennifer, Nick, Peggy, Adam, Brooke, Kaia, Rooney, Tanya, Cherè, Don, Frank, Cheryl, Krystal and John. Predeceased by her parents Florence and Norman Lumley, and her siblings Lillian, Catherine, Clarence, Edith, Jean, Harold, Bill, Norma, Margaret, Betty and Patsy.
Evelyn found great comfort through her faith in the Lord. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren whom she loved and adored endlessly. In retirement, Evelyn loved playing cards and was a great Euchre player.
Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 1194 Murphy Rd., Sarnia, on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia.
