Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Bluewater Health, Linda Lou Alice Lamourea passed away at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Fred Lamourea. Dear sister of Gale (Pete) Hignett and their children Chris (Cecil), Rich, and Doug Hignett, and Gerry (Rosemary) Cadotte and their children Margaret Cadotte Reid, Gerry (Sariah) Cadotte, Michelle Cadotte, Michael (Jen), Bill (Darlene), and Tim (Cec). Best friend of Pam Atkinson. A special friend to the late Harold “Soup” Campbell. Predeceased by her parents Gerald and Adeline Cadotte. Linda was an avid bowler, golfer, and walker. She was an organizer for Thompson Gardens for many years. Linda will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the St. Joseph’s Hospice or Bluewater Health – Palliative Care (cheques only at the funeral home please).
