It is with saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Larry Alan Laur on Monday, August 26, 2024 at the age of 62. Loving father of Crystal Laur and her fiancé Jayson Templeton. Amazing grandfather to Brayden Laur-Rotteau and Tyler, Jon, and Skye Vanpraet. Dear brother of Karen Taylor (nee Laur) and her husband Brian Taylor. Predeceased by his parents Stan and Rose Laur (nee Sterling), step-son Chris Vanpraet, and by his brothers Gary, Rick, and Ron Laur. Larry will be missed by his extended family and friends. Larry loved fishing and camping and will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman. He also had a love for food, especially breakfast. Above all, Larry’s greatest love was his family and his generosity will not soon be forgotten. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Larry’s wishes, no services will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to a charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please). Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
