Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Bluewater Health, Kathy Maness (Isaac) passed away at the age of 47.
Loving mother of Tiana Hignett (Dustin) and Christen Hignett (James). Cherished grandmother of Ashton Hignett-Williams, Luca Bressette, Ziibin Isaac, Everly, Amiara and Serene Walker. Dear sister of Cara Maness. Predeceased by her parents Mireille (Nick) and Bruce Maness, and brother Dustin Maness. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kathy will be remembered as a loving and caring person, who had a soft spot for her children, grandchildren and dogs, especially Bailee and Baby. She has been reunited with her mother as they shared a very special relationship. Kathy will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
Family and friends will be received at Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre, 1972 Virgil Ave, Sarnia, on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre, 1972 Virgil Ave, Sarnia, on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Aamjigwnaang Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Sarnia and District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
