On 05 24 24, surrounded by her loving family, Haley started her journey home at the age of 27 years.

Haley was a devoted mother to Scarlett Winter Rose and Ryan Bruce. Her children were her entire world and she was so proud of them. Scarlett is the daughter she always wanted. Sharing a birthday with her son Ryan was a special celebration for the both of them. Haley's children are the best parts of her.

Haley was fiercely loyal to her loving parents Heather and Ken Plain. Haley knew how much her mom loves her and how special their relationship is. She brought joy to her great grandmother Rose Manning who lovingly called her Chibobin, meaning she loved to laugh. Haley was the cherished granddaughter of Bruce Manning (Linda). Haley lived with her Papa Bruce for many years when she was a small child. They had a special bond because he helped raise her.

Haley was a supportive and protective sister to Chantel, Malcolm, and Kenneth, and sibling to Ashlee. She had a special bond with her uncle Lincoln Jackson. He was a mentor, role model and trusted confidant. Haley was well loved by her extended family, especially her Aunt Lisa (Kelly) and cousins Leah, Megan and Eli. Haley held all her cousins in her heart, with great love and friendship – there are too many to name here.

Haley will be missed by her great uncles and aunts, including late great uncles Albert (Ericka), Doug and Tom, her great uncles Harvey, Murray and Stevan, her late great aunt Marena (Cleve) and great aunts Jane, Dolleen (Mary) and Victoria. Also, great aunt Joanne who was like her grandmother and Uncle Dexter who was special to Haley.

Haley was a Sun Dancer and loved ceremonies. She had a deep connection to her cultural identity. Haley loved spending time with her children, family and friends. She thought of others and would check in with everyone. Haley was empathetic, supportive and compassionate while standing with her truth. She loved music, her dogs, quadding, tattoos, crystals and Tarot readings.

Tear drops falling on your face now you mourning

I did what I had to do, now I’m gone…

This is what it gotta be, I be

I’m glad I got to see

What we could really be…

I’m free

Yeah, I’m free…

I’m free
