It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family announces the passing of Jeffery “Jeff” William Maw on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at the age of 49. Much loved son of Joyce Maw and Ron Maw, and survived by his grandmother Doris Maw. Dear brother of Marcia Maw, Dale (Melissa) Maw, and Lyndsay (Tim) Cumming. Treasured uncle Bonesy of Kiren, MacKenzie, Treyton, Jace, and Easton. Remembered by many close friends and his cats Charlie and Archie. Jeff was a Process Operator at Suncor for many years, a career he was proud of. He was a dedicated fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins as well as the Toronto Blue Jays. Jeff will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, March 2, 2026 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Sarnia & District Humane Society or Crohn’s and Colitis Canada (cheques only at the funeral home please).
