Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Dec 18, 2025, at Bluewater Health palliative care, Bob passed away at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Virginia (nee Traxler) adored father to Stacey Jakobs, Kari Harris, Michelle Millier. Cherished grandfather to Justin Grove, McKinleigh Dew, Bailey Allison, Cody Millier, Caleb Deighton and Emerson Harris. Proud great grandfather to Riley Carver Dew, Paisleigh, Daxton and Gus Mollica and Savanah and Logan Allison. Dear brother of Barbara Little (d. Gerry)
Predeceased by infant son Steven, grandson Jonathan Dew, parents George and Maud Millier, in-laws Emerson and Shirley Traxler, sister Joyce Needham (d. Cliff). Bob was a long time retiree of Shell Oil. Bob enjoyed life on the River and loved entertaining family and friends on the dock with a cold beverage while watching the ships go by. He will be dearly missed by all. Cremation has taken place. As per Bob’s wishes there will be no visitation or service. Sympathy may be expressed to The Canadian Cancer Society or Arthritis Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
