Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Bluewater Health, Geralen Rose Milsom passed away at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Thomas Milsom, who shared 58 loving years with her. Treasured mother of Stacey Lynne (Drew) Blair and Marie (Mario) Galeana. Cherished grandmother of Brett Blair, Mason Blair, Tyler Blair, Gavin Galeana, and Franco Galeana, who were her greatest joys in life. Predeceased by her parents Leonard and Geraldine Ingham and her younger brother Fred Ingham. Geralen was a nurse manager in the Chronic Care and Rehab department of St. Joseph’s Hospital. She introduced a dog therapy program at the Hospital and was very involved with the St. John’s Ambulance Program. Geralen was a world traveler. She enjoyed many adventures across the globe with her husband Tom. A lifelong resident of Sarnia, she loved living on the lake for over 50 years. She enjoyed her membership with the CWL and always looked forward to annual head nurses reunions with past colleagues. Above all, spending time with her family was her favourite thing to do. When we think of her we will remember her caring, kind, generous and outgoing character. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Geralen’s life will be held at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health- ICU or the Heart & Stroke Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please).
